The next lecture of the lecture series will be delivered by Prof Prasanta Roy, at Women's Christian College, 6 Greek Church Row, Kolkata 26 (behind Kalighat Tram Depot), on 24th February, 2018, Saturday, 2.30 pm. Prof Ray will speak on Greed. All are welcome.

As part of the Lecture Series initiated by WBPSA, renowned Economist Prof Ratan
Khasnabis will speak on Economic Federalism in India, on 9 th February, 2 pm at Khudiram
Bose Central College, 71/ 2-A Bidhan Sarani, Hatibagan, Kolkata. All members of
Association are cordially invited to attend the lecture.
The first of this series was delivered by Prof Radharaman Chakroborty, on Çhanging Power
Equation in Present International Scenario’, on 18 th November, 2017, at Manindrachandra
College and received much appreciation.

Next Annual General Meeting and Conference of WBPSA will take place at Hiralal
Mazumdar Memorial College for Women, Dakshineswar, Kolkata on 17 th and 18 th March,
2018. Please watch this place for further updates.

Next Executive Committee Meeting of WBPAS will be held on 30th January, 2018, 5.30pm
at CUNIC Office, College Street. All EC Members are requested to attend.

Mr. Chiranmay Saha, a retired mechanical engineer living in London for last fiftysix years
and a member of the British Labour Party had an engaging ‘add’ (unstructured discussion)
with members of the Association on various aspects of BREXIT which turned out to be a
lively academic exercise, attended by many members. More such events are in the offing.
